Meeting of the National Dive League and the Philippine Diving Commission

On January 19, 2024, a meeting was held between the President of the National Dive League, Yuri Belsky, the representative of the National Dive League of the Philippines, Mr. Ronel Bacalla, and Mr. Marco Angelo Anchete, the Executive Director of the Philippine Commission on Diving (PCSSD), (a special department of the Department of Tourism of the Philippines) .

The purpose of the visit was to participate in a discussion of cooperation in the development of safe and environmentally responsible diving in the Philippines. Particular emphasis was placed on accreditation as a critical factor in ensuring and maintaining quality, health and safety standards for scuba divers.

The purpose of the visit was also to discuss the promotion of the Philippines as a destination for diving tourism among Russian citizens.
