Upon completion of any training courses, a student receives a plastic NDL certificate.

The front side of the plastic certificate contains the following information:

  1. Certification Level.
  2. Logo of the NDL.
  3. Moto of the NDL.
  4. Address of the NDL website.
  5. Certification level cards of the NDL Novice Diver, the NDL Diver, the NDL Nitrox Diver, the NDL Divemaster, the NDL Instructor Rank 1 and the NDL Instructor Rank 2, beginning since 2007, contain information on the compliance with the EN and ISO standards.
  6. Logo of the EUF (European Underwater Federation).
  7. Certification level cards of the NDL Novice Diver, the NDL Diver (since 2015, level cards of the NDL Universal Diver, the NDL Deep Diver, the NDL Advanced Universal Diver) contain information on the maximum recommended depths.

The reverse side of the certification card contains the following information:
